BLCKLGHT is a house music producer and DJ based in Miami, FL. William Cruz spent his first eight years producing music and refining his distinct sound and creative vision. He is redefining how Artists can leverage digital culture, turning social media into a launchpad for his breakthrough.

In February 2025, after months of teasing his record “Away From You,” BLCKLGHT generated over 12 million views pre-release on social outlets through a highly creative and viral content strategy. The campaign led to more than 160,000 independent streams in the first week alone and now holds more than 1 million streams. Following its strong debut, the track was signed to Kinetica Records. Shortly after, BLCKLGHT followed up with signing to The Shalizi Group.

His latest record “XTC” (Kinetica Records) has already gained over 5 million views pre-release featuring several editorial placements including a cover for SoundCloud's Next Up playlist.
